The Dricon® fire retardant chemical formulation produced by Lonza Wood Protection does not contain urea formaldehyde and does not increase or decrease the emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) once pressure-impregnated into the lumber or plywood.
Dricon® chemical consists of 70% guanylurea phosphate (fire retardant) and 30% boric acid (preservative). Neither the formulation nor the treated wood is not considered a hazardous material.
Dricon® FR chemical and FRT wood are independently third-party inspected by Timber Products Inspection and other inspection agencies.
