The 40-year roof system warranty is for builders, or building owners in the event a builder cannot be located. It encompasses materials and labor in case of a failure due to heat degradation. The 40-year preservative warranty protects building owners against damage from termites and fungal decay in a qualifying application. The truss manufacturers warranty is good for 10 years and protects against problems due to heat degradation in trusses.
